Rose for sure. He is a stud and would give us a tremendous 1/5 combo to dominate the league for years.

I would take Rose and either let Nelson know, hey, bench and help the team, or you're out...However, I think that Otis takes Beasley because Nelson IS our PG and Beasley gives us a strong low post player much like an Elton Brand, which is what Otis has wanted...

highly doubtful...least we Forget that many people have these guys tied at the #1 pick, and just a few weeks back Beasley was the hands down guy...either pick would be fine...I take Rose because he's a strong PG and I think it would be nice to have a real athletic guard, Beasley is a strong offensive machine with a potent arsenal and can rebound pretty well...

With all the holes on this team, both fit great. I just feel that Rose would have more of an impact on our superstar, where as Beasely would take away touches. Its kind of like, would you rather add Carmelo/Al Jefferson to this team or Deron Williams?

Rose, not even close IMO.

Beasley is gonna be good no doubt, but Rose will be great.

Rose. You could use Nelson off the bench as a scorer on offense, which is what he is made for.

It wouldn't have to come down to Nelson vs Rose for mins, either, given that Derrick is big enough and athletic enough to defend most NBA 2s, so arguably they could play together in the backcourt at times.

in a perfect world you would put Nelson on the bench...but Nelson would eventually get fed up and want to leave...thats what happens with winners and starters...

Beasley is the better fit for us. I'd have to take him over Rose based on our needs, but I believe Rose will be the better player in the long run. Both are going to be awesome anyway.

Rose makes the most sense.

PG are valuable as we have seen with CP3 and Williams out West. He also is huge for PG standards. People say Beasley is on the short side for PF. Plus we would have to figure out if we play Hedo at the 2 spot or put him on the bench (I highly doubt he would want to do that.).

We could play small ball and push the pace with 2 legit distributors (Rose & Hedo).

Rose is obvious. But if I was a GM I'd go for Beasley. The guy was the NCAA leader for rebounds in the Big 12. Beasley could be a Malone type. Rose will be "just" great.
