OT: I applied for Survivor..

Post#1 » by sp1187 » Sat May 24, 2008 8:41 pm

The game, i hosted on here for like 4 years finally became my reality today. On Rinehart(sp) in Sanford, Survivor was doing auditions. Odds are 1/1million but i decided to get off my ass and do it. I had beer with me so i was straight. there was alot of people there prolly around 500. Ill see in August if they call me, but i highly doubt it i think i choked since that was my first time in front of a camera.

But at least a tried, right?

I don't think everyone voted so the game is dead in the water.

So I guess it was a split-decision? If it's unanimous (which I doubt), it would be silly to be waiting this long.

This past season was really good, IMO. Wasn't pleased with the winner, but oh well.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I used to be a season ticket holder with the Orlando Miracle and they did their own version of Survivor ( The Solar Bears had done something similar ), I applied for it, Went to the Interview and was selected along with about 12 or so other fans.
It was fun we had to do all different kinds of things to earn immunity, Got to shoot Free throws on the court at half time and had to wear a Miracle T Shirt with our names on the back and one of those grass skirt type thingys :D
I would have won, But my Mother passed away and I had to fly back to England.

I used to be one of their Hip Hop Dancers on the M-Squad... One of the coolest jobs I ever had. There last year though I tore my ACL
