Would you welcome TMac back?
since we have a little while before trades and draft starts im bored...lol
so i was thinking, since tmac is a hometown guy he may eventually want back into orlando, especially if he becomes a ring chaser! lol
so im wondering what the response would be if he ever decided he wanted to maybe end his career here or want back in, obviously i know the possibility of this is very slim and hell probably retire a rocket but i just wanted to see if everyone still hates him as much
i personally would take him back for a vet min if he shut his mouth but other than that i could care less about him, i know hockey man screwed him over and they didnt get along but he really became a crybaby over it all

I don't know.
For what? He wouldn't come here for the vet min, lmao...I'd dump Turk and filler for his contract though.
Dwight/Tmac/Lewis is mad scary, is it better than KG/Pierce/Allen?

yea i never disliked tmac, he did what he was suppose to when he was here, the ending relationship was kinda bad, but thats not strictly his fault, the hockey guy didnt want him and didnt like his personality type..he was looking for hockey minded players like francis, tmac isnt that..if he was affordable and seemed healthy why not..

I would take him without a doubt, he still have the play making skills needed to lead a team..He is still a VERY good passer, and with an actual team that can do things other than suck, he could/would make it out of the second round..Easily..Look at Garnett... all he needed was Paul Pierce...(Ray Allen has not been himself at al lthis year)
Lewis/Mac/Howard >>>>> Pierce/KG/Allen

id bring him back in a heartbeat...he'd put us over the top...we'd have our go to guy and with him, dwight, shard, and hedo the defense would be hard pressed to double anyone...we would present matchup nightmares to just about every team

Got to agree with Thief on this. The rest of the team battled on until the bitter end. McGrady stopped putting any effort in around the turn of the New Year, and shut it down completely as soon as the season hit April. He was a disgrace that season.
Something that summed his attitude up for me was a couple of incredibly disparaging, disrespectful comments he made about Steven Hunter in a Kicks interview. Interviewer asked him what he thought of Hunter, and MeMac responded by saying "Who?" and laughing. Now I know no-one was ever that enamoured to Hunter in Orlando, but at the time he was a young player, fairly new to the league and struggling to adjust, and McGrady was meant to be Orlando's leader - that response, whether meant in jest or not, was completely unprofessional and un-called for. We are well rid of him, and I would never want to see him in Magic blue again.

Mitchell, that's the same attitude 90% of the NBA's superstars have today, ironically the only one I'd see caring for StevenHunter and giving his 100% for his teammates is LeBron (or maybe KG) who's been doing that for years in fact. And I've never been a LeTravel fan.
Honestly today's Tmac, with his health problems and on/off game, is not the same player he was 4 years ago. He'd be a nice addition, but he wouldn't be the "final" move to get this team to a championship.

If he'd come back at the vet min - as put forth in the OP - definitely.
If it would cost a core piece - it would be a definite maybe. Personal feelings aside, his back would be too worrisome to rely on. People more qualified than I am have pointed out that it likely is a chronic issue that won't just go away or be easily repaired with surgery.
