What are you more excited about? I am more excited about the draft because it can directly impact the Magic and I could care less about the teams in the finals. I know we usually suck at drafting, but I actually feel confident going in to this draft.

Draft.
I haven't watched a game since we got eliminated.

NBA Draft > NBA Finals (if Magic aren't in finals)
NBA Finals (if Magic are in) > NBA Draft

I'm more excited about the draft but I'm more excited to watch the finals. Unfortunately, watching the draft is about as fun as watching golf.

I won't be able to watch the Draft as I will be in Greece (or in the air) come that time.
But the Finals feels so fixed to me I can't seem to watch more than 10 minutes before moving on to something else.

Well the draft, naturally.
The Finals are always fun to keep an eye on, but fans of the 28 teams that aren't a part of it are likely paying more attention to draftees, possible trades, and free agent signings that can take their team one step closer to being part of the festivities in the future.

Finals by far for me. It's the pinnacle of the season.
The draft I only watch until the Magic pick and then I turn it off. I may not even watch the draft next year due to our 22nd pick will take so long to get to. Plus the talking heads at the draft usually annoy me to no end.

Finals I guess, well no.. draft, until we ultimately trade our pick for a **** player or draft somebody that I hate .. then the hype turns into disappointment.

Draft - this will be the first draft I have ever gotten to watch, since they don't show it in the UK, but I am now in Toronto. I have a feeling I may end up being bored to tears, but for novelty value I am looking forward to it, and am obviously excited to see who Orlando will pick.

finals- we never do anything exciting anyways at the drafts.

Obviously the draft. I dont understand how fans of a team could care more about the finals (when their team isnt in it), as opposed to something that will have an impact on the future of the team.
well nm I guess, we dont typically draft players that have an impact on our team, but im still looking forward to the draft, and not interested in Stern's NBA finals.

i voted for the nba draft, but only because it's more important to me as a magic fan than the nba finals.
"excited" is just not the correct word to describe how i feel about this upcoming draft.
more like "anxious".
i am excited about these finals, though.
if you're a fan of NBA basketball, it's kind of hard not to be.

I have a different view of the draft than others because I never followed a college team. NYC had 2 pro teams for every sport, and that's what I focused on.
So with the draft, notable exception was the Dwight draft, for it's interesting, but who knows how the kid will do in the pros ...
Yes there's a greater impact with the draft, but it's not very exciting for someone like me, unlike Neon1. Just differing viewpoints.

I like the draft because you get the scoop on the players being drafted, which is especially helpful if you dont follow college ball.
