Jameer is a BYC player
For everybody that is throwing Jameer into trade ideas I hate to rain on the parade but he is going to be a BYC player for the next year.

Base Year Compensation (BYC) players are often difficult to trade for one simple reason; their outgoing trade value is either 50% of their incoming trade value OR it is the value of their previous season's salary, whichever is higher. This means that when trading a BYC player the original team must take back twice the salary (the player's full contractual value) than is credited as being outgoing for the player, all while adhering to the usual 15% plus $100k trade rule which governs teams which are over the cap.

He wasn't going anywhere, regardless. Or at least, I highly doubt Otis was looking to move him. But this info should seal the deal for those who continue to include him in trade proposals.
