first of all, who cares about the lakers, this is a magic board, not even competition for us until the finals....so gtfo
second, theres no way you can afford arenas too, so keep dreaming, bynum is due for an extension, arenas is looking for a max deal and you already have odom, kobe, gasol with hefty contracts so keep up with whatever you are smoking because its good stuff!

Arenas wants a PAYDAY. I hardly think his motive for opting out had anything to do with winning anything. He wants a huge payday after a season long injury basically, that's just crazy in my eyes. Him playing for the lakers would need to be a sign and trade, which is the only way it happens. So one of their key guys would be gone to make it work.

Arenas
Allen
Pierce
KG

To continue with this let's imagine things.... could you imagine if Dwight Howard had a twin brother named Dan and that he played for the Magic... And we also cloned Magic Johnson from his prime days... Our line up would be sick!
Magic Johnson
Hedo Turkoglu
Rashard Lewis
Dan Howard
Dwight Howard
One word... SICK!
