Is Tiger Woods a Magic or Lakers fan?

Just wondering... He was born in California, but lives in Orlando now. The US Open announcers just mentioned that he was lamenting the performance of "his" Lakers. However, he was seen at many Magic games throughout the season and was at most (all?) of our post-season home games. When the TV cut to him, he was usually rooting for our guys.

I'm guessing he's in a similar position to me: I lived in Orlando back in the day and, though I've moved away, still consider them my team. However, I now live in NYC so I go to Knicks games and root for them unless they play the Magic. You can tell I'm a Magic fan though, since when they play at the Garden I root for the visitors.

As such, the real question is, when Tiger goes to Magic/Lakers games at Amway, who does he root for? I vaguely recall him pulling for Kobe & LA, but maybe someone with a better memory can say for sure.

I do believe he likes the Magic but it not a passionate fan. When the Magic have a good play he might semi clap but shows no emotion at all. I bet he is like most celebrities that are bandwagon Lakers fans.

I highly doubt he's a "real" Magic fan.

My thought was always that he was just a celebrity out to enjoy a good game, "root for the home team", make a community appearance, that sort of thing. A lot of times in cities that have multiple sports teams, you'll see some of the city's pro baseball players come out to watch the city's pro football or basketball team compete in important games, and vice versa. Just out to have a good time and like I said, root on the home team. Sort of the same thing with Tiger, I'm assuming.

I bet he sort of roots for the Magic when they're doing well, but in his heart is more of a Lakers fan. Just my guess. It's always cool to see him out there though. He attended our first round games, as opposed to the Lakers ones (unless he was at both?).

Well considering the fact that he owns Magic season tickets, he must at least somewhat enjoy watching us play.

Does anyone remember when Tiger attended a Magic - Cavs game?
After hitting a 3 pointer, LeBron started barking at Tiger; but Tiger didn't respond.
PRICELESS.

BTW, Tiger is a Lakers fan.

Well, Grant Hill still has season tickets too, and we all saw how much loyalty he has to this franchise. Just saying... :D

Tiger doesnt have season tickets, he gets season tickets...he's not a real Magic fan IMO, he barely shows any interest, he comes in late and leaves early...meh...I think he just comes becomes it's something to do outside of his normal every day...still nice to have him reppin I guess...

I'd say he's like most people living in Orlando. Grew up liking another team, moved to Orlando, and started watching Magic Games because they were the local team. He's at more than just a few regular season games, so I would definitely say he's a fan.
