Post#1 » by magicfan4life05 » Tue Jul 1, 2008 2:01 pm

it's on espn2, he's gonna be on the show but it's from 10-12 but im not sure when exactly he will be on, but ill try to do a quick recap for those who cant watch.

they are gonna talk about:

his celebrity impersonations (supposedly hilarious)
injury status
team usa going for gold
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

"I feel great"

"Im very confident. We get back to orlando..my team and i have workout scheduled and we going to stick to it and cant wait to get going."

"Well you know we gonna play same way like last year in american games. we lookin forward to having a lot of fun..very tough but we looking to overcome all obstacles and win gold medal"

"Well i cant wait to get going..gonna be a lot of fun. we have a great team. my job is to control the paint and im going to do the best to block shots and rebound"

"Well i think the reason it will change is because we been together for 3 years. we learning the game at a very high pace. coach K and rest of coaches done an excellent job in minicamp and teaching us the game"

"We are ready"

"whose the most you excited about"
wow..uh well....its hard to play favorites..i would say..wooh thats a tough one..i like kobe..i'd go with kobe..lebron or...smiles..everyone on the team...

on kobe saying gold over nba....

world championship is more important than NBA ring...you represent your country and everything I stand for...you put your personal goals aside and do what you do for your country. winning gold medal is the biggest honor and biggest thing is my life..

thats coolll with meee.

hockey type injury

hes feeling great

july 31 start of training camp

very confidence he'll be ready

has a workout schedule in orlando, looks forward to it

coach k they will play same way they did last year

will have a lof of fun

very togh for them, they want to win gold medal

guarding unique big men, face up instead of post up

looks forward to get started protect paint, block shots, he knows his role on great team

they've been together for 3 years, learning the game at fast pace, coaches have done great job teaching them international game, d'antoni helped too

kobe, lebron, wade, he is most excited to play with "oh wow" its hard, ill say he likes kobe, probably go with kobe or lebron...

olympic gold or nba title: i would say as far as accomplishing big time, world championship, representing your country, what stand for, put everything personal goals aside, concentrate on trying to win for the country, happiest days of his life

they will talk a little bit off the court later on....

lol what are they gonna ask him?

Nice to see Dwight is getting some push. The Dunk Contest finally brought him to the attention of everyone...not just of his talent, but his personality. We have seen it for a few years now...but I would expect to see a lot more of Dwight on TV now. A lot more.
