Patrick Joseph Garrity (Air Pat!) going international!!

"When they fill out the roster," cracked Garrity.
Garrity, the longest-tenured Magic player (1999-2000), also said he is exploring his options around the league. He turns 32 next month.
Known as an outstanding shooter, he has not been able to carve any significant playing time in Orlando the last several seasons and also could retire.
But for now, Garrity is continuing his work as an NBA ambassador. He was expecting to leave for India late Monday to join the league's Basketball Without Borders, an annual summer youth camp conducted by NBA players and officials. Garrity said he also will participate in the camp in Thailand.
"I've got all my vaccine shots," he said.
Pat will shows his skills to our distant neighbers from another hemisphere. Go Pat! Show them what Air Par is all about. Air Garrity has been cleared for an international takeoff!
I like Otis and the Magic double speak, because they wanted to be nice to Pat they say they "may" offer a contract later in the summer lol. Come on be honest lol.

Pat Garrity is the stereotypical white player who survives in the NBA because he hustles and because he is "smart off the court". The Magic are like "oh well he is an NBA ambassador and secretary of the NBA's Players association, we can't get rid of him." From nba.com, He also graduated from Notre Dame with a 3.7 GPA in science/pre-professional studies (pre-med). That is why people similar to Pat Garrity like Alec Kessler (RIP) were drafted in the nba as well, the fact that Garrity has survived this long is remarkable. He is like a cockroach that you never can kill, Pat Garrity lives forever.

It wouldn't surprise me if he became a coach after he retires or some position with a team... possibly the Magic. : (

There is nothing wrong with Pat working for the Magic, he is a bright guy. Just as long as he is not wearing Magic warmups and warming benches.

Hey don't you remember the last time that the nba's best player retired and became GM of a team (Michael Jordan, Wizards).
Pat Garrity > Michael Jordan
Can you imagine the bad moves he will make?!

The club might have deep bench needs i a combo forward that can play the 3 and 4. Garrity might actually be a fit next year.
