...secretly working on a trade with the pacers or grizzlies to acquire one of their many guards? now that we have MP it gives us 4 shooting guards under contract for next year and 1 point guard (im hoping we don't re-sign arroyo) idiana just got jack and ford so tinsley would be the odd man out. memphis has crittenton, lowry, conley, and mayo, with either crittenton or lowry being the ones left out. could otis be working on a deal to obtain one of the following 3: javaris crittenton, kyle lowry, jamal tinsley. the MP signing came from nowhere, maybe a trade will as well.

Probably not Tinsley because of the character issues, even though he would be a very nice fit on the court hooking up Dwight with some good looks. The MP signing reinforces how important good character is for Otis.

It's impossible to know anything about what this team does before it happens. I've said it before, this is a very tight-lipped organization. The MP signing came out of nowhere. The Ariza trade last season came out of nowhere. The initial Billy Donovan signing came out of nowhere. And I love that about this team.

Schmitz is saying it's going to be J-Wil, but I wouldn't mind a talent like Tinsley coming off the bench. Character issues aren't so problematic when you're a backup.

Id have to disagree. When you are demoted from starter to backup and you already have character issues, thats like playing with fire.

Bringing Diener back would be a big surprise and a big fan favorite on here. I definitely approve.

Anybody agree trading JJ for DIener?

if we bring in j will, do you think he would be the primary back or more like playing the arroyo role?

no, Kwame would be a better addition to our front court depth than Diener would be to our back court depth...

No question about that. Diener is a joke. At least Kwame is a big body with some miles left on it. I would like to see a Crittenton off the bench. Hes a good change of pace backing up Jameer. With Bogans, JJ, Lee, and MP, theres no way Otis doesnt move at least 1 of them if not 2.

Its a shame we couldnt keep Dooling, but I like MP in the long run.
