I didn't want to bury this 13 pages into a 2 month old thread, so please forgive me. I just talked to a Magic Ticket Representative (Drew) and he confirmed that the new uniforms have indeed been postponed until the 2009-2010 season. Take it for what it's worth, but I asked him because of the conflicting information that has been posted.

UPDATE!!!!
After checking the email he sent to me about tickets it turns out to be none other than 104.1 then ORock DJ Drew Garabo. No lie. It says on his myspace that he works for the Magic in Ticket Sales.

Also, to clear up the uniform thing (I read realGM, too!)…I am not confirming that we are not unveiling the new uni’s next season. My official statement is that I have not received confirmation that the new uniforms will be unveiled for the 2008-2009 season. No official word as of yet.

nice find, that sucks... kind of makes sense to unveil the new jerseys with the new stadium though

Didn't someone post that the new unis had been shown to the team awhile back?

Maybe those were prototypes that just ended up not making the cut. Or maybe they will indeed be unveiled - just next season.

Either way, now I'm a bit disappointed. But w/e

im pretty sure the ticket sales guy isnt going to know inside information regarding the jerseys, when i contacted the magic shop about the jerseys being blown out to make room for the new jersey they never denied anything and then 3 days later there are no jerseys available online...so if they arent coming out this season why would they jeopardize potential sales by taking down all jerseys???? i think "drew" is trying to stir s**t up
