So, in my spare time I LOVE to sit and play some Call of Duty 4 with my buddies... But XBOX ALWAYS seems to find a way to piss me off..As of Tonight I am on my 3rd XBOX with the red ring of death, and I am about to start hell with Microsoft... It is really BS that I have spent so much money on something that doesn't even work correctly... I am more than angry right now...and am jsut downright tired of how much crappy product Microsoft puts out...I am about to get a PS3..At least it hasn't had any recall problems...

DOn't they send you a new one?

i got the rings of death and they fixed it at no cost. they also extended everyones warranties from 1 year to 3. i think that microsoft has handled the situation/pr disaster the best they can. that sucks you have had it 3 times though, same box each time?

Don't t a PS3. Its a crap system. Basically a Blu-Ray player that can play video games. It has MGS4, but in the future, only worthwhile title it will get is God of War 3, and thats not until 2009.

I know they fix it free...But the thing is, I only have until August 18th to get my fill then I have 6 college classes and a job to attend to...I have had it fixed twice and this will be the 3rd..All they do is send you a refurbished RRD XBOX..That's why they keep having the problems..Microsoft just needs to suck it up, make me a new one and stop sending me crap...

I had the red rings. I sent it to Microsoft. They sent me a refurbished unit. It took about 3 weeks total. I have had my unit back for about a year. It works fine. They can be sensitive to heat so you have to keep it away from other electronics that put off a lot of heat. The thing is I'm not a big player so lately it just sits there. I could sell it for cheap. If it wasn't to much trouble to do so.

just take it to best buy and go to the geek squad and they will fix it for free.

I own a Playstation 3 and I am very satisfied with it. They just implemented a movie rental / download service that I have started using. There are more AAA titles than God of War III such as Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Final Fantasy XIII, etc. I dont buy games a lot so if you're hard-core gamer yeah probably get an xbox but I think Playstation 3 is better for us in our 20's. Oh, and Blu-Ray is the Ish.

Also own a PS3. Allot of titles are going dual console now so I am starting to feel like it's just my Blue Ray player. I hope I'm wrong.

The main downer is that FFXIII is coming out for the Xbox as well as the PS3 making the exclusive title count so far down to about 4-5 games none of them are THAT spectacular. Maybe there will be a Kingdom Hearts that impresses though.

I like Splinter Cell better than Metal Gear Solid.

Gears of War 2...looks insanely good

Go for PS3. Xbox sucks

xbox has way better games than the ps3 and i can make my own games on 360 where ps3 isnt hackable (atleast yet)

i had my 360 for over 2 years and it works w/o a problem i hope i didnt jinx m yself lol.

I had mine since launch and I didn't have a probem until this past christmas. I sent it in and haven't had a problem since. I am going to a PS3 in Sept. when the 80GB goes on sale, mostly because of Blu-Ray but the games they had at E3 is looking forward to what is comming out.

Just get a PS3. Its awesome. Never has any problems. BluRay is fantastic and ten times better than HD-DVD. It has an underrated (and free) online program. And I'll admit it got off to a slow start but the games are coming in. I played MGS4 while it doesn't deserve a 10 it is definitely one of the best games I have ever played. GOW 3 is coming. Socom is a very underrated series. Rumors of an ICO 3 (both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus are extremely good games). Also it has a game called Uncharted which is one of the prettiest games I have ever seen and while its not a deep game it is pretty fun.

BioShock is the best game out in my opinion. I am waiting on Resident Evil and Splinter Cell Conviction.
