"The Warriors have signed Maurice Evans to a three-year, $6.4 million deal, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
By adding Evans, it means the Warriors would not match the three-year, $9 million contract restricted free agent Kelenna Azubuike signed with the Los Angeles Clippers last week. The Warriors had until Friday to match Azubuike's deal, but Evans represents a cheaper alternative.
Evans was a Laker and Magic last year. He is an athletic, 6-5 swingman who plays solid defense and can knock down the three-point shot." San Jose Mercury News
... it was starting to get a bit strange that Mo hadn't got interest from NBA teams. Guess this has been cooking in the oven for a while now. I'm glad he's still in the league, though I would love to have had him back in place of Bogans and/or JJ. Well, another Magic killer has been released. Lets watch our back. At least he'll be playing in the Western Conference.
Thanks Mo for all the hustling and flashy plays!!!
