Clips waive Powell, Maybe Magic's gain

With the Clips waiving Josh Powell and the Magic lookin for a center to fill in the spot. The Magic could consider givin the guy a shot to see if he's worth taking a chance on. If so, at least Powell is young and can be had for cheap.

He sounds like a perfect fit for the Magic. Hopefully Otis makes a move for him.

he should definitely be signed if we are looking to trade for a PG, if we are trying to sign a FA PG instead, it's not going to work...I'm a Powell fan though...he's a straight up BULL...I watched a game last season with him vs. the Rockets I think, he had like 25/12 or something, he was working everyone down low...I believe the Clips are doing this to add another vet big, Elson or Skinner possibly from what I have heard...Shame, Powell is coming into his own...

Looks like we're on the same train of thought. Now someone put a call to Otis and get Powell signed up.

This guy was putting up double doubles EASILY at the end of last season when he was starting.

He'd be perfect with the magic..

Change the wiretap from Magic want to sign Foyle to Foyle just became irrelevant.

I hope you are right. Powell would be a logical choice because he fills a need. But Magic management is unpredictable.

Some clipper fans are pissed on this other board i post at, lol. They wonder why Powell got waived over Paul Davis and Fezakes......I question that move too, but as a Magic fan, I'm not complainin. hopefully we can scoop.

Other than experience, Foyle has nothing on this guy. Powell is exactly what the Magic need.

Getting Powell would allow us to Package either Cook or Battie along with Bogans or Redick to get a good back up point guard.

Theif call it in to Otis. Tell him to sign Powell. I liked what I saw in this video. I agree he could be a great benefit if he was had for a cheap price.
