OT: The most useful OT thread ever

I was headed to work this morning and there was a cop that had pulled someone over in a turning lane that I was going to use. I pulled in and suddenly there were flashing lights behind me. When cop #2 got to my window, I asked why he pulled me over as I wasn't speeding at all (unusual for me). He told me I didn't move over into the far lane away from cop #1 and the guy he'd pulled over and that was a traffic violation due to the Move Over Act ($75 fine). He obviously didn't realize that I was turning just past where the other cop was pulled over, so I didn't get the ticket.
I hadn't been pulled over for a while and the experience got me thinking. If anyone is interested in avoiding traffic tickets in the future (and really who isn't), I've got some advice to help you out. With Halloween only a few months away, it's never too early to start thinking about a costume. I recommend you go as a nurse from your local hospital. After Halloween you should leave the nurse's uniform hanging in an obvious place in your car and if you're ever asked always respond "Yes, I'm a nurse at (insert name of closest hospital)." If you do this, you are unlikely to get a ticket in the future unless you do something really egregious since cops are loathe to give a ticket to a nurse that might just end up treating them should they ever be injured in the line of duty. Pretending to be a doctor or cop will also work, but those are much more difficult to pull off.
Anyone else have some useful advice for getting off a ticket or any other practical advice for your fellow realgmers?
note: inmate347 does not endorse lying to cops or stealing nurse's uniforms from the hospital (stealing attractive nurses is fine though)
