Chris Bosh a possibility in 2010? (link)

From the Chicago Sun Times:

Twenty-three months may seem a long time, but it isn't, not when Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh become free agents in July 2010 and other franchises already are plotting to sign them. James probably is bound for New York, where he'll either join the restructured Knicks or his soul brother, Jay-Z, with a New Jersey team headed to Brooklyn. Bosh will flee Toronto and look at Orlando and Western Conference teams. And Wade? Which town is he from again? Depending on how the Heat perform the next two seasons with the player the Bulls didn't draft, forward Michael Beasley, Wade is capable moving on and signing elsewhere. If so, the Bulls would be as viable a destination as anywhere, particularly if Rose and Deng develop a bond and some of the other dopes grow up and start reaching their potential. Whenever he is asked about the future, Wade never commits fully to finishing his career on South Beach, a signal he'll have Fave Five openings on his cell phone. "A lot can happen in the next two years," Wade said a few days ago. The Bulls should interpret that as an invitation.

Curious. Unlikely, but curious.

idk, he and Dwight are really close, but I'm not sure that we will be FA players in 2010, however just thinking of a Lewis/Bosh/Howard front court, oh man...

I could keep my sig forever!!! If we wanted a shot we would have to compile some decent pieces to move in a S & T. If we still had Hedo, he'd be gone, along with picks, expirings, and then we would probably need at least 1 more good contributor in that deal to make it reasonable.

That being said, if it presented itself....you gatta take it. Dwight is the power & Bosh is the touch, both the best at what they do right now.

Bosh and Dwight would be the perfect 1-2 punch in the frontcourt. Like Tim Duncan and David Robinson were.

It is way to early to be talking about this unless your the Nets lol.

That'll give Dwight a flopper to practice against every day. Maybe he won't be so vulnerable to the tactic after that.

Find a way to dump Rashards contract. Trade Hedo for younger but promising talent and expirings. Be prepared for missing a year in the playoffs (but a higher pick) and you should have a good shot at a championship team when you sign one fo those players. If you don't then you pretty much busted up the team and will be scrambling worse than the clippers are right now. No risk no reward.

thats a terrible idea, our best shot is a S&T.....hedo, pietrus, gortat, '11 1st and 2nd rounders for bosh + fillers.....this only works if bosh REALLY wants to come here

Here is the Lineup I am predicting for 2010 if the move was to happen.

PG - Nelson
SG - Pietrus
SF - Lewis
PF - Bosh
C - Howard

The lineup gave me chills just writing down. I could smell championship all over that. Watch out Boston there is the new "Big 3" in that lineup.

Stay as far away from Otis as possible. Don't give him any ideas like that. Those sound like John Weisbrod moves lol.

So wait, where did Mariotti get this from? Did he just pull Orlando's name out of the sky?

Bosh will flee Toronto and look at Orlando and Western Conference teams.

I mean, that's the only thing he says regarding Orlando. It just seems really odd that were the only team named specifically, I've never heard anything before regarding Bosh to Orlando, and he doesn't back up his reasoning in the slightest.

I'm curious to know what this stems from because it seems like he just thought: "Hmm, Orlando should be good, let's go with them. Muhahaha!"

With that said, I'd love Bosh playing alongside Dwight. A perfect power/finesse, inside/outside combination in the front court. We could play to All-Star bigmen together without them ever really getting in each others way. I can dream, right?
