Looks like he's put on a little muscle just looking at the shoulders/arms. I have no idea when this was taken though.

From the notes on the video on JJ's site it's pretty recent. From sometime over the summer when he was in NC at Duke. JJ does look bigger, hopefully he's been working on his defense so Stan might give him a little more burn.

I'm really hoping something is done that has Bogans on the move. If Hedo were to leave for some reason next season I could see Pietrus sliding to the three and a heavy rotation of Lee/Redick at the two....depending on how well CLee develops.

If that bet with Dwight was true, then that's actually pretty ballsy.

I mean, even for a great shooter -- two attempts from full court, for five grand. Wow.

I like this guy, he's got some whit. Lets hope he actually gets some burn in a Magic Uniform so we don't regret letting a good talent slip away.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd really love to see him getting some PT next season. Especially considering we don't have much firepower off the bench. We could also play him next to Pietrus so there's a little more defense next to him. Johnson could also be good next to him..

I'm almost certain that JJ will get pt this season around 15-20 mpg consistantly.

He looks built now. Before he was kind of just toned..but it looks like he got stronger

Hopefully hard work pays offs and he get the playing time he deserves...

So does that mean you expect him to get more playing time than Courtney Lee?

You know, I don't think anyone doubts J.J.'s ability to shoot the ball. There are two questions about him that he really can't answer shooting in an empty gym. 1. Can he get away from his defenders so that he can get off his shot? A lot of times, even when he runs through a couple screens, the guy defending him closes on him before he can get off the shot. and 2. Can he stop anyone else from shooting?

He hasn't really proved that so far when he has gotten on the court. But if he does, then he will ensure that he has a future in the NBA.

There is a lot of difference between ANY playing time and 20 minutes, which is basically half the game.

I ask again.....do you expect him to get more playing time than Courtney Lee?

If Pietrus is your starter and J.J. plays 20 minutes a game, where then are any minutes for Lee? And if Lee doesn't play next season, then won't you guys start calling him a bust? And how about Bogans? He started last season as the starter and won't be able to get on the floor at all? They definitely have issues at the shooting guard spot minutes-wise.

Assuming he isn't traded, I expect JJ to be ahead of Lee in the rotation for the first half of the season. I really can't see SVG putting Lee in games until he has mastered the plays, which means he'll see only minutes at the start of the season. Both Otis and SVG have to be feeling some guilt about holding JJ and not letting him play. While JJ has always been a worker, it seems that this summer he really focused on doing what the coaches wanted him to do, and that should have earned him something. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that for the first few weeks of the season, the first backup sg position is JJ's to lose.

ppl forgetting we still have Bogans? I'm not a fan of him at all, but why would he be benched. Although I do hope Bogans is traded before camp.
