i'll catch it on tv some day or something. But like UCFknight84, I think it looks like a terrible depiction of real college life. They take all the extremes and throw them together.
As an aspiring screenwriter, this gives me hope because if trash like this can make it I'm pretty sure I can easily top it. Though I do admit, the previews do look like it has some funny parts, but the general story looks (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

I am an aspiring screenwriter. I'm still a student at UCF, though I'm not taking classes this semester (blew my transmission and can't afford it), but no I'm not in the film school. I've got about five scripts i'm working on slowly, with my main focus being on one or two at the moment. Tough to find time to write when I've only got 2-3 hours of free time a night.

I haven't watched it yet, but from what I hear, it's not too good. And IMO, it won't be as good as "Accepted," which was also a movie about college, with Justin Long.

I liked Superbad, however, Step Brothers? .. Wasn't that good. Very disappointing when it came down to seeing it after watching the trailers and previews. Pineapple Express, now that was a funny movie.
I think I'll wait to rent College before I go see it in the movies.

eh. In my second year in college i lost my financial aid because I failed to complete 75% of my classes (I had enrolled in four, and I withdrew from two midway through the semester because I was working two jobs to pay for unexpected expenses, food, rent, etc).
Basically, I messed up.

The last year of my life has been spent trying to get out of debt, only to have more problems crop up and thrust me back into debt another couple months. I was suppose to be back in school this semester, instead i'm hoping for the Spring. And my credit is such crap it's tough to get a loan without it being a ridiculous interest rate.

well if it makes you feel any better, the ucf film school is a joke and you're probably better off writing on your own like you're doing. thats what im doing now, got a completed screenplay and working on 2 more, but im sticking it out in film school. itll be a bitch trying to find a job with a film degree tho.
sorry to go off topic, but lets be honest, i think we can agree "college" is worth talking about.
