As much as I like football I still have to bring up this point. We get the Big Ten channels for football but we still cannot get the local sports channel to see all of the magic games on TV. WTF?

I hate the Big Ten but love College Football.

I'd still rather have FSN!

My feeling is this was part of deal BrightHouse cut in Indiana (Think it was there) to carry it on the basic package.

However, The Big Ten which is owned by Fox like FSN is, only wanted like 10 cents per customer on out of Big Ten region systems so that opened the door for BrightHouse to pick it up on the Digital Sports Tier.

This is the same tier they want to put FSN Florida and NFL Network on.

Not a huge Big Ten fan but like having as many channels as possible.

OK so that's at least two networks they are going to add that might have no appeal at all to local viewers. How much more will it cost them to add FSN than to add those two channels? And how many of us who don't have HD are paying money so they can add more HD channels? I realize that the HD customers pay more, but do they pay the entire cost? And how about the number of available channels HD is sucking up? Would they have more available channels if they didn't have to offer the regular -- and HD -- for so many different stations?

The Big Ten Network is on the Digital Sports Tier which costs apply to only those that want it.

This is the same tier they want FSN Florida and NFL Network on. It's just dirt cheap because were out of market.

I hate the bias the Big Ten gets in the BCS but I like having as many channels as possible.
