OT: Masters Final Round

Post#1 » by BassMaster » Sun Apr 12, 2009 9:18 pm

Tiger and several others 2 shots behind leader Kenny Perry with a few holes to go.
As I was posting this Kenny Perry birdied and gave himself a slight cushion.
This Masters has a lot of hope for several players unlike so many others.

Tiger lost a stroke on the 17th hole while Phil Mickelson missed a 3 foot putt to put him 1 stroke behind the Leader.

This has been better then the last several Masters, but Tiger needs an angel right now the last two holes hurting him. Tiger really, really screwed up on the 18th hole. I haven't seen it this bad for him in a long time. And then Phil screwed up as well jeez. Rolling eyes watching these two.

PM just hacked at 2 critical putts.

He'll continue to have a hard time shaking his label......

I agree. The putts he missed were the kind that make people just shake their heads and wonder what was he thinking.

Kenny Perry just choked on the last 2 holes and got 2 bogeys. Now there is a 3 man playoff. Perry, Angel Cabrera and Chad Campbell. Should be a great finish.

Been watching for 2 hours now, awesome to see a 3-way playoff now.

Congrats to Cabrera. Wasn't really rooting for him but he still gutted out a good win. It's pretty amazing to think that Angel has won 2 career PGA tournaments and both are majors (US Open and the Masters).

Was a good round today. After Tiger was out, I was pulling for Perry. Congrats to Cabrera.

It was funny to see a Japanese guy wearing an Australian cowboy hat.

I was surprised Mickelson chocked so hard after having a record tying front 9... disappointing
But nonetheless a good round today fun to watch
