What is missing is "floor leadership" and "energizers".

I thought Alston would bring some of that......I am still waiting.

Step it up.

Any way, it isn't panic time until the Magic lose both games on the road. Until then it is just sweating

that trade got us cook and mo evans, last year we NEEDED mo evans, and this year we used Cook to get Alston, if we wouldn't have gotten Alston our season would be ending worse than it is now.
Otis hating is overrated

Otis bought himself a lot of leeway from me with the late Alston trade. He has his problems, but we could do a whole lot worse.

i agree. Otis earned his respect with me due to that trade. i didn't think he could pull off something of that calibre.

If I felt like we were playing hard and just missing shots, that's different. But the attitude has been terrible, and seeing as how the attitude has been this way dating back to well before the regular season ended, I'm not going to sit here and fool myself into thinking it's going to change overnight. If that is what happens, great. But I don't expect it to happen.

when 2 of your 3 biggest focal points don't bring anything to the table, it's easy to understand how the team can fall to pieces.

Dwight is the only reliable player right now. the attitude changes when he gets consistent help.

Its going to be 3-1 if the Magic don't shake things up immediately.

Philly fans will hate me for saying this but Magic are just epic failing right now. I really don't think the 76ers can do anything if they advance this round and I'm sure most of them know this as well.

If. Exactly. IF.

It's 2-1 in a 7 game series, and the Sixers won both of their games on last second shots. This a very close series right now. Some people aren't going to enjoy it because they're too wrapped up in thinking "oh no, we're the #3 seed what the heck?!!?"

Some people are already looking towards next season. They need to settle down, at least until Sunday's game is over.

The Magic had their most-important game in game 2. Now game 4 becomes another most-important game.

Unless the Magic loose one of these, it's not time for a panic attack.

Game 5 is less "urgent" than game 4. One must now favor Orlando to win the series. Panic attacks are not over, but the heart palpitations are slower.

the magic playing without urgency is never a good thing.

and if the best they can do with urgency motivating them is a 3 point win, well.... i'm probably more nervous now than I was before.

That is probably because Alston isn't meant to start. He is meant to come off the bench as a 6th or 7th man. He will get that opportunity next year once Nelson comes back.

Oh and no panic necessary. Magic split the road games, gain back control of home court.

Watching Alston miss a gazillion layups makes me realize how spoiled we were with Nelson.

What amazed me is he did one of the hardest things, and made it look easy, which is just roll through the core of the paint, gets to the bucket for what looks like an easy lay in and some how clanks it or rolls it over, I just sighed every time, its just times like that makes me wish someone slashed in to dump it off to.

But 2-2, its still squeeky bum time. Next game is huge, we need to win on the home floor and take the edge in the series, if we go back to Phila 3-2 up I think we are in a good position.

If we can cut out any form of momentum they have with a big win, because I really think last night was more exhausting to us than them, we stand the best chance.
