Dollar for Dollar: Grant Hill or Rashard lewis

Post#1 » by CourtsideTV » Sun Apr 26, 2009 4:26 pm

I know this is just another silly thread but if Rashard coninues to play out his contract at his current performance, what is the better signing...Grant Hill who played somewhat efficiently when he was healthy for half of his contract...or rashard who is having troubling finding himself in the offense and defense playing all of his contract.

Playoffs aren't over. Have hope guys. Just ask yourself one question: do you believe in Magic, or don't you?

To the question at hand, we aren't even halfway through Rashard's deal yet, so it's not fair to assess.

Rashard in a runaway, it's not even close.

Shard easily. Hill never even played most of the time.

Shard's an All-Star and you say he's having trouble finding himself in the offense and defense? Bzzzt.

What a dumb thread.

I choose the mystery selection and choose Ike Austin.

In seven years (including playoffs), Grant Hill totalled 204 games, for 3,340 points, 1,013 rebounds, and 632 assists.

In less than two years, Rashard Lewis has played 173 games, scored 3,117 points, 980 rebounds, and 446 assists.

no question it is shard, are you serious even bringing up this as a topic, they were both on max contracts and shard has played almost as much as hill,

hell if shard just shows up and averages 5pts a game for the rest of his contract it is a smashing success compared to hills

This thread is useful to understand who around here is really a hater of a specific player before thinking of the team.
So far:
Page one: Bucs80 shows up.

One per page would be a good average.

:dontknow: When Grant was healthy he played just barely more than 2 out of the 7 yrs in the contract we gave him. Not half.

3 bad games do not negate an all star season.

Shard easily, even when shard isn't playing great he still hit some pretty big shots for us in the last game, and in the last home game he had 8 reb and 6 ast....
