OT: Manny tests positive.

Post#1 » by Dunkin On Ya » Thu May 7, 2009 4:08 pm

Per the MLB wiretap, Manny Ramirez has tested positive for performance enhancing drugs and has been suspended 50 games.

Why only 50? These guys know this is against the rules...why not start banning these players?

Ah, the first big name to be suspended.

I guess it was only a matter of time.

50 is the automatic suspension length. He'll lose 7.7 million bucks.

Not enough. They should start banning guys. It is a priviledge to play in the MLB. Maybe even start taking some wins away from teams who's players get caught.

Looks like Man Ram got **** over by his doctor in the meds he was given. Doesn't look like he got caught with a steroid, just meds not legal in baseball.

That's what this clown deserves. He is a joke and quit on my team (Red Sox) so this is actually great news for Red Sox Nation.

Not surprised by the "human knucklehead" Ramirez.

Great hitter, but he's got a box of rocks for brains.

Way to tarnish an already tarnished career Manny.
