I thought Springer was a waste of a pick originally, as he doesn't really have a position on offense. However, after seeing his quickness and athleticism I have to adjust my stance. He can be a great defender and an off guard rim runner. Sort of like a Bruce Brown.

Assuming he at least develops a corner 3, he is kinda like a 4 on offense but in the future could guard the opposing lead ball handler. Not a future star by any means, but could be a solid rotation player in a couple years.

Just a corner 3 isn't enough. When you're 6'3'' and not a reliable playmaker/shot creator, you need to shoot 3's with a quick trigger (with above average efficiency) and drive/kick within the motion of the offense.

His shooting numbers in the G League are really disappointing thus far. Horrible percentages from three and the line, while not shooting them enough.

We don't need a player like Springer, the franchise has made it clear for years now

Same as Isaiah Joe, let some other team explore.

36 PTS in 24 minutes, just insane performance from the GOAT.

At least the 2nd round elimination would go down easier when I hate the team.

I think Springer has the ability to contribute now but we have a fairly packed backcourt situation at the moment. It'll take some injuries to guys like Thybulle and Melton before we see him getting any real time.

I will say, this is probably an ideal place for him to be learning how to survive in the league. You have high work ethic guys like Maxey and Reed. You also have elite defensive players like Thybulle and Melton. Melton is really the model for him. Dude couldn't shoot coming into the league.

What do the 76ers fans shout out when the opposing team starters are announced. I can't make it out when I listen on TV? It's probably something ratchet.

Glad the starters took care of business early and allowed the B-team to get some run. All games should be like this.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Love that second meme. Made me laugh.
Never caught the full game last night. Just watched the highlights.
The thing that left the biggest impression was Embiid’s new hair. A bit superstitious about cutting hair mid-season (the Samson effect lol), but he looks my streamline from what I watched. Take with a grain of salt though as it was against Detroit.

They shout "Sucks!" Not that they are the only fanbase to do it however.
