I actually like Van Gundy because he isn't cookie cutter like virtually every other 'analyst', but that comment about Rivers was right out of the patronizing cookie cutter school.

Another good thing about Van Gundy is you get Breen doing PbP, by far the best in the business.

You know I remember Stan gushing over the 76ers when it was know there was going to be a coaching change a few years ago. Perhaps Jeff is trying a different approach, if the 76ers fall short in the playoffs and decided to make a coaching change.

Would it be too much to ask to just one time get a competent coach from this century? Since the Process, we've had incompetent from this century and incompetent from the 19th century. I'd love to see us try someone with a grasp on how the game is coached and played at the highest level today.

Ime Udoka is available and I would not be opposed to him coaching this team.. The hornets should really take a look at him too.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Me neither but I think his baggage may scare some teams off like it did for Atlanta. If not him I think we should give Cassell or Burke a shot. Not crazy about bringing in another retread especially one who's HCed multiple teams (MDA).

He's another one that got away that we should have kept instead of what we stuck with.
