This game was interesting in that it showed how the team functions at full strength without Harris. I suspect Harris's presence functions as a bit of a ball and chain in the minds of the other players. He's the highest-paid player on the team, yet he's the fourth scoring option and doesn't have another clear role offensively and he isn't exceptionally good defensively. Such a player could create a psychological "weight" among his teammates, who at the same time feel he has to get his touches and points to justify his existence (and salary), yet is but the fourth scoring option and has no other clear role on either side of the court. If that's the case the team would experience a sort of "lift" with him simply not playing at all. Now everybody has their clear roles and there is no ball and chain.
Harris's best place on this team may in fact be in coming off the bench. Let the starters play the important minutes without having to jam his square peg in their round hole.
