I don’t think so.

Any GM, let alone Morey would be looking to move Tobi’s expiring contract even if we won a chip.

That said, Tobi can stay if he’s around 15-20 mil per annum for his next contract.

Not to me. It was always about him as a player, while the contract just made it worse. I just want him gone.

I want him gone too.

But he reads books !! Who the hell is gonna fill that void?

I wonder if Tobias would be ok taking the Igoudala route? Would it make since for him and this team?

Iguodala was the perfect fit for those Warriors teams, willing to come off the bench and do the dirty work, completely subjugating his ego with the singular goal of being part of a winning group.

I think Tobias still thinks of himself as a 'should be' all-star who sacrificed a bit for the good of the team due to not really having a choice. For one, I can't imagine him taking half or less of his salary and accepting the same kind of dirty work job here.

Besides, Iguodala in that role became a money player, actually winning a finals MVP. I don't think Tobias has the kind of skill set to become a defensive stopper/rebounder/passer at anything close to Iggy's level.

Yea you can't turn a player into something he's not. That warriors iggy would be of great use here on this current roster, every skillset he has would be of need;
Fast break offense
Fast break defense
Athleticism
Wing defense
Spot up 3pt shooter
Slasher
Secondary ballhandler
Playmaking
Rebound + break starter

Just about every skillset we are lacking in.

No doubt. And looking at that skill set, how much of it does Tobias naturally possess?

As was stated, at this point in the game Harris probably feels like he is sacrificed enough of his game for this team he was the third option now he's the fourth option. And now you want him to come off the bench! Yeah that's a big ax especially for a guy that feels he has a lot to contribute and I think Harris still believes that.

As for the law firm of House Reed and McDaniels. I think they have proven that they are valuable asset to be utilized in the playoffs. And I would not be surprised to see Springer getting some run too.

And it's good to know that McDaniels still has a lot left in his tank and is not about to hit the wall like his brother did.
