When his stepback 3s are falling hes good, when it isnt he isnt a threat offensively anymore. I dont know how much money we should offer him: hes a great pg, but hes not a triple threat anymore.

To me it looks like when he drives to the rim he's putting far more effort into getting fouled than he is into making a shot. Often times when he doesn't get fouled and he gets a shot off, the shot looks like there was minimal effort behind it. It's as if the shot is undertaken merely to ensure the foul, if it's called, is a shooting foul. The shot isn't undertaken for the purpose of actually having it go in.

Chris Paul money, with a year or 2 too much to be sane.

So 120 million for 4 years I would offer, maybe 130 but not more.

That way, you have some flexibility during the season (for sure when Tobias' money comes of the books) to add something extra.

Those last 2 seasons of his contract, you have to s... it up, it's part of the deal of trying to contend.

By that time, Maxey's gonna negotiate his own contract so i guess we're not gonna have flexibility for the foreseeable future.

For G4, do we let Tobias or our bigs hunt Spencer Dinwiddie?

The problem I see without Biid is suddenly Nets length is designed to defend guys like Harden and Maxey on single coverage.

Another one is if Reed is starting at the 5, then who plays back-up C.

Personally, I’d probably start Dedmon then let Harden, Maxey and Tobi cook on offense while defensively I’d let Melton-McDaniels-Reed trio pull us away without edge off the bench.

Oh and Claxton better be careful with Dedmon or Harrell because both bigs have nothing to lose
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I think we're going to blow them out today.

Also, every metric (and the eye test) tells us Maxey has been the best Sixer in this series. Really makes me wonder what he would look like as our lead guard (not considering last season pre-Harden, he wasn't as good then).
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards/Council
George/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

I tend to agree. I think we took their best shot, and unless they're allowed to fly out of the gate and get up big early, I think this could be a matter of their spirit being broken. A tie or close game after one period bodes badly for the Nets.

I can see a big game from Maxey, and a game like this is perfect for a Niang 3-pt. explosion.

Good game, loved contributions from Harris, Reed and Melton. Let's get some rest now and prepare for the next series.

Rooting for Hawks to extend the series as much as possible. Would love if they can win another game.

Sweep the Nets? Check.

Embiid injured in the 1st round? Check.

Right on pace.

Melton was the best bench player in that series. I'm hoping he can give us something on both ends vs Celtics we know Brogdon will do his thing.

Wtf happened to Joe Harris?

I'd say Melton and Reed were both big, especially yesterday.

Seriously, did Joe Harris make a single shot yesterday? Dude had a million wide open looks and seems to have forgotten how to shoot.

2019 Nets would’ve handled the 2023 Nets.

They were building something nice before blowing it up for Cupcake.

I remember Kenny Smith tried making a point a few weeks ago, that the Sixers don't have a guy outside of their top 4 that they can get a surprise 15pts from in a big playoff game. Melton and Niang immediately come to mind with Shake and McDaniels.
