Its about physically looking like you belong and don't look overmatched. Shooting % don't matter here. People often bring up Derrick Rose as an example of a guy who played bad but went on to do good things...but I didn't think he was that bad in his summer league stint...the athleticism popped. Curry is the one who was tough to gauge but even then I think he had a curry-esque game as well.

now if you look like hot ass and can't do anything...then you might want to start crying lol

I don't know about Louis King...he's ALWAYS supposed to be more than he ends up being - dude has the measurable and the skills but never the results

King is a big complementary wing who can do a lot of things fairly well - defend multiple positions, shoot, handle and pass - and generally plays within himself and makes smart decisions with the ball. He was an excellent glue guy for Delaware last year, making a bunch of little plays here and there that aren't flashy but contribute to wins.

he's not an iso scorer, though, and his game probably isn't going to stand out much in summer league with the lack of structured offense and all the no conscience chucking (Terq Smith, I'm looking right at you buddy).

Promote dudes that play well.

Greg Brown
Filip Petrusev
D.J. Steward
Javonte Smart

Those should be the pool of players we consider for our 2way deals.

Smith, Council, and Tubelis were either outright terrible or didn't show enough.

I secretly still love Tubelis. He showed a few times during SL that he's a role player that maximizes the offense. Still a bit of a trash defender though. I could see him running the show for the Blue Coats this year.

And a lot of players who performed well but actually suck.

Looking at you Furkan.

I think he can be a montrezl harrell type player on a trash team. I dont know why he can’t be a mobile defender, he seems to be mobile on offense.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I think he’s in the mold of Jokic (obviously not in the same realm) on offense. He’s got incredible vision for a big, smooth stroke from outside, talented post moves. I see him as a high IQ offensive player. His saving grace is a career +2 STL% in college
