Those are on sale now , might as well grab couple of them while they last

Not sure about that he did him a solid and made sure he got a contract. Traded him to a good team as well.rocketsfan100 wrote:Danny green doesn’t like morey by the sounds of. He seems to have some hard feelings

Players are so against ownership in so many ways right now that as soon as one guy says anything bad against a GM/Pres then a bunch others start piling on. IMO the NBAPA and NBA players are some of the most self contradicting ones out there.

Anyway calling Morey a liar when he is in CHINA , it's a masterpiece by Harden.
LOL
I wouldn't be surprised if he collected a check for that outing.

Yes he took a $13 million pay-cut (taking the $35 million salary versus the $48 million player option). But... he also received an extra one year player option for $35 million (the one he just exercised). So he received an extra $22 million ($35-13 million) than he would have received, if he just opted into last year at $48 million. That extra $22 million was guaranteed even if Harden had a career ending injury last year. So Harden did get something for taking that pay-cut last year. In hindsight, Harden getting this year's player option at $35 million in exchange for taking his $13 million pay-cut worked out very well for Harden. Given how soft the free agent interest in him was this year, the extra $22 million was well worth it.Oneand_Done wrote:I mean it seems fairly likely Harden feels Morey lied to him, and is right to feel that way given he gave up money to help the Sixers out. Do people seriously believe Harden did that because he's just a nice guy?
You deserve a Bonus And 1 for that post.

Harden could always say his words were translated incorrectly by the Chinese media.

Maybe it's not Morey but Embiid, who almost ended Green's career, that he has a beef with. So we have Fultz, Jimmy, Harden, Simmons and Danny. All guys that could not get along with "Embiid " yet blamed management. Not a bad starting 5 either. They might make the play-in tournament.

Please everyone think twice before supporting the horrible company Fanatics and Rubin. He's driving sports gear and memorabilia into the ground. Even Mitchell and Ness products quality is beginning to fall off.

Hey folks,
Wondering how you would feel about a Harden for Gary Trent Jr. And Chris Boucher deal.
GTJ in the starting lineup allows Maxey to take over the primary scoring role in the backcourt, while Gary would provide the perfect spot up/one on one scorer to be the release valve for Maxey and Embiid. He is also primarily perimeter oriented so wouldn't get in the way of Embiid and Harris in the paint. Boucher is an energy big off the bench who gives you some D and a lob threat.
Thoughts?

Got any lightly protected picks hanging around to add?

Interesting, could be part of the discussion perhaps. I'm wondering if that might be more in the scenario where Harden has more than one year left on the deal? It's a thought though, thanks for responding.
