Thats why we’re not just a healthy Joel Embiid away

I watched this youtube clip last night, and what really stood out to me is how this Knicks team thrives when things get physical and the pressure is on. Players like Hartenstein, DiVincenzo, and Hart really elevate their play in those intense moments, and it fits perfectly with Thibs’ system.

Compared to their new replacements in Mikal Bridges and Towns, they seem way softer compared to guys like Donte and Hartenstein. As for Hart, he feels a bit out of sync with this current Knicks squad.

Exactly how I felt about the trades as soon as they were made. They essentially emasculated the team and took away its identity. They needed some changes to help Brunson, but they overdid it and killed their flexibility in one fell swoop.

Kills me to watch the Lakers as much as I despise James, but DK did land in a spot where he'll have a great chance to succeed.

I know this comparison might seem extreme, but I felt as if the 2018-2019 Nets were building a nice little core and they completely gutted it after acquiring Durant, made it completely top heavy with no identity and now are rebuilding from the rubble again. In reality they might've extended their potential with smaller moves while retaining. Not suggesting this will be the exact scenario with the Knicks, but some GMs get googly eyed over big names and abandon the grinders who made them what they were.

Wasting all their assets at the same time is Colangelo-Brand level malpractice. They got caught up in the hype of last post season and went on a binge that might just have killed any shot this group has of seriously competing for a title. And I doubt they'll have a Morey to pull them out of the fire.

It's pretty annoying how Josh Hart randomly became knock-off Klay Thompson for 6 games against the Sixers then immediately went back to being a liability on the perimeter.

I know they had a bad game, but I think the Knicks will be a lot better than people thinking right now. I think last night's game is more of a statement of how good the Celtics are.

That being said I think Hartenstein will be gravely missed come playoff time.

They'll be fine in the regular season, but those moves weren't made with anything but championship contention in mind, and in that area they may have badly misfired. We shall see.

They better retool this suns squad. They’re getting beaten by Clips squad without Kawhi.

He’s more like steph curry. Specially with that shot in G1. He was shooting deep and contested 3s lol

13 minutes for Tari Eason last night in a loss against the Hornets.

Just wanted to add here that your boy fouled out in 15 mins against Utah. I'm just going with the confirmation bias that he is not a starting NBA C.

He’ll adjust, it’s just part of the learning curve that comes with being a rookie. He was looking good prior to this game.

Most players are shooting poorly. Except for some and all of that Celtics team lol
