Making the contracts work is the most difficult part, but it makes sense for everyone: Kings still try to compete with PG while continuing to build for the future, Heat get their next gen star who is at a standstill with his current team (also gets to play with his buddies Herro and Bam), Sixers get Embiid his best buddy.

If this happens Miami is the one that needs to add, not us. Butler for George is basically a lateral move considering their ages. But Fox is only 27 and gets paid $13m less ($37m).

So it would have to be:

PHI out: George
PHI in: Butler

SAC out: Fox
SAC in: George + assets

MIA out: Butler + assets
MIA in: Fox

Plus SAC needs to send at least $5m more of salary to MIA to make the deal work since they're hardcapped at the Apron.

I think PG being pretty bad and on a massive longterm contract, it'll cost us to get off his contract. Could be wrong though.

A funny circumstance could be something like Malik Monk, DeAaron Fox, and Trey Lyles going to the Heat thus making the UK heavy answer to the Knicks Villanova team. They'd probably have to also give up Jacquez and Ware to make that happen.

Maxey/Lowry
Butler/McCain
Martin/Oubre
Yabusele/Martin
Embiid/Drummond

Still need a 4, but if the ship is sinking, I'd rather it be with Butler than George.
Lol Riley and Spo would laugh at your face and hang up with that dumb offer because of PG foolish max contract!!! Miami had NO interest in old PG this off-season unlike Philly and GS. And Jimmy has no intention of coming back to Philly due to the whole Tobias insult mess that still pissed him off which he continues to hold a grudge on. He would tank in Philly just like he is doing now in Miami.

I can do much better that would benefit both teams. Send Jimmy home for Dillon, FVV plus an unprotected 1st for salary matching since they have so many first round picks now like OKC. Rox best chance to win the ship as his new Joy!

Reed Sheppard finally starts at point as the 3rd overall pick instead of rotting on the bench. Boy I'm I good at this as a win win for both teams!

Bingo!!! You are very smart unlike that other poster. Some just don't think when posting trades.

It’s already being reported that Houston (and Dallas) are not interested in trading for Butler. Golden State would have to do a 4-for-1 until February (when Schroder can be traded), assuming they don't trade Dray or Step. It’s a 0-team race, as things stand.

I doubt we're going to pony up assets to make a lateral move from George to Butler on a new longer contract, so that Miami can upgrade from Butler to Fox while getting rid of this massive headache in the process.

Well the Rockets are fools for not bringing Jimmy back home for 2 guys they don't really need and allow Reed to start at the point. I can understand them not wanting Harden back but this is Jimmy who NEED his Joy back to win the ship!

It does. Same reason why I am still upset at Colangelo on what he had done to Mikal Bridges. I would trade every future picks we have left to bring him back home where he belongs!!!
