I could see a situation with Sixers, Heat, and Kings built around Fox going to Heat, PG plus picks/young guys to Kings, and Butler to the Sixers.

Making the contracts work is the most difficult part, but it makes sense for everyone: Kings still try to compete with PG while continuing to build for the future, Heat get their next gen star who is at a standstill with his current team (also gets to play with his buddies Herro and Bam), Sixers get Embiid his best buddy.

If this happens Miami is the one that needs to add, not us. Butler for George is basically a lateral move considering their ages. But Fox is only 27 and gets paid $13m less ($37m).

So it would have to be:

PHI out: George
PHI in: Butler

SAC out: Fox
SAC in: George + assets

MIA out: Butler + assets
MIA in: Fox

Plus SAC needs to send at least $5m more of salary to MIA to make the deal work since they're hardcapped at the Apron.

A funny circumstance could be something like Malik Monk, DeAaron Fox, and Trey Lyles going to the Heat thus making the UK heavy answer to the Knicks Villanova team. They'd probably have to also give up Jacquez and Ware to make that happen.

I think Jimmy's "point guard" skillset would fit well on this team. I would do PG for Butler straight up if Miami would. It all comes down to the playoffs anyway, and Jimmy >>> PG in that regard.

And Jimmy has no intention of coming back to Philly due to the whole Tobias insult mess that still pissed him off which he continues to hold a grudge on. He would tank in Philly just like he is doing now in Miami.

I can do much better that would benefit both teams. Send Jimmy home for Dillon, FVV plus an unprotected 1st for salary matching since they have so many first round picks now like OKC. Rox best chance to win the ship as his new Joy!

I doubt we're going to pony up assets to make a lateral move from George to Butler on a new longer contract, so that Miami can upgrade from Butler to Fox while getting rid of this massive headache in the process.
