Maxey went toe to toe with Jokic in the 4th. The game went to just a straight up duel between the two of them. Nothing to be mad at here. I love what we're seeing. Maxey keeping us in games, Maxey closing, he just needs some help.

We are testing Maxey's potential as a main playmaker/scoring hub and he's playing like a top 15 player right now.

He's almost getting to prime Dame level, which i always considered to be his ceiling.

Without actually checking - I think we had about $160MM of payroll on the bench. Really good effort

Didnt see the game only Maxey highlights. Although he shot well from 3, what got my atention was his midrange jumper. He shot alot of them, with good sucess. He seems to be shooting them with more patience, slowing a little bit. If he could get a reliable 15 ft jumper, he would be a offensive menace, and probably top 30 player in the league next year( if he can get his 3 point % close to 37-39% again).

Rebounds still killing us. When TF is Paul George coming back?

Agreed here he has definitely been getting into his jumper under better control, rather than crossing himself out of his own shoes. Getting into his floater game too going in either direction

Who do you kick out of the All-Star game to make room for him? Not disagreeing with you. Just wondering who you'd boot.

I love how Nurse has this team playing. They are scrappy on defense, shooting 3's a lot better and moving the ball extremely well. How do you keep this going if and when Embiid comes back?
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

No chance would Joel buy into this type of game

He’s been drilling those all year, even with the 3 ball off. Uses them off spins well and uses them as a beautiful counter for defenders who cut off the angle to the cup. They’re inherently hard shots but with his touch, balance, and ability to shoot quick they could be deadly in the PO. (With the usual Maxey caveat ‘if he’s hot.’)
