This time it worked, hopefully he will adjust and keep improving. This 76ers team hung tough for most of the game, but besides Maxey who else was there to turn too. And as crazy as it sounds Eric Gordon could have been a big difference maker in this game. But the growth that I have seen in this team over the last few games has been great, both the wins and the losses.
Kelly Obure. I love his energy and when he has played with Embiid, George and Maxey, he has a defined role and he plays it well. BUT his minutes can be split among Edwards, who is playing extremely well, and Council, if need be. So if a deal comes along the 76ers should take it.
I was definitely impressed with how aggressive he was . His quickness is actually his elite skill set more so than his Jumper and I think he's realizing that if he uses his speed first to get going than defenders have to give him space and that sets up his shot better. I also think he is getting used to the added muscle and using his body more.
The end of Celtics game show he need a legit backcourt mate when he's being denyed.
I like Oubre as a spark off the bench player, he also fights. No one is talking about how he is basically averaging double digital rebs the past couple weeks

Nick needs some blame for that 20 pt run . But I doubt they go on that run if you add PG , Martin and Embiid. Our two best peremeter defenders and Embiid our best rim deterant.

The coaching decision should have been: let Tatum beat you inside the arc. Everyone was so afraid of him getting to the rim, they kept doubling him and let everyone else on the team shoot a wide open three. I'm not saying we would have slowed them down or even stopped the comeback, but letting a bunch of +37% 3pt shooters take wide open threes is assuredly going to let them back in the game.

Agree. All the Saltics want to do is spam open 3's. The defensive gameplan should always be to guard the 3PT line and force them to take it inside, regardless of whether we have a rim protector in or not.

Oubre is playing so well but I still like him best when the stars are there and he's just in his role. His defense and awareness fades sometimes when asked to be a top option. But that versatility at his price to be able to score or be a role guy is tremendous.
Maxeys speed, off ball shooting and off ball movement is his super power. He stretches defenses with his a ability to catch and go downhill as much as he does with his ability to shoot from the logo (much like Joel scares team from 3pt line catching on the move to draw fouls or eurostep. Plus right now his mid-range game has hit the mark. 45+percent from mid-range.... Right where he needs to be and that means he must be at least over 50 in his latest stretch because he was down in the mid 30% range like in December. That's including his floater returning. Been saying it. That mid-range improves he's elite... Hell as an off ball guard he's elite.
