The mere fact that McCain is considered as a hope for the future is bleak.

I think we have higher standards for that. He’d only be a 6th man at best for the Thunders or the Rockets.

As much as I think the kid will be a good player, this is so true.

I'm also not explicitly saying McCain is the only thing to be excited about our future. Maxey is a bonafide star (even if he didn't play like one tonight) at 24 years old. There is a path to winning it all in the next 5 years built around Maxey, McCain, or whatever player we can draw in from trading one of the two (not advocating for that).

I also don't think PG and Embiid are impossible to move and we might see it sooner rather than later if the bottom falls out on this team after All Star break.

Maybe as a rookie. He projects to be better than Dort, FVF and Dillion Brooks in the very near future. At this point, he projects better than Reed Sheppard who I’m sure Houston has high hopes for as well.
always a jump shot away.

Tremendous insight and commentary as always.

Ruined the broadcasts for me years ago. Where's my brother Vols who can join in solidarity missing the goat Zumoff.

Still here, but I watch so infrequently any more and just assume she'll be here as long as she wants, so what's the point in complaining?
Truth is, the vast majority of fans probably don't care and some might even enjoy their inane banter.
I refuse to believe the vast majority has such low standards.

As a Wizards fan, I believe he's better than Bub Carrington by a good bit, although he's 4 or 5 years older. Butler is definitely a better defender and higher IQ player than Jordan Poole.

The Wizards messed up. Poole won a championship with Baylor.

Appreciate your insight. I liked Butler in college just based on the numbers and he looked good whenever I saw him this year, including lighting us up.

Hoping he can be a long-term piece for us. He had a great game last night.

Can't believe we lost to this lame franchise.

They just traded for Brandon Ingram and gave him $120 mil for 3 years. They are going to waste Scottie Barnes by surrounding him with inefficient players like Ingram and Barrett for the foreseeable future.

With all due respect, I don’t think we’re in any position to make fun of another organization after extending Joel Embiid and that stiff Paul George

Yea, it's bad here, but man, it's REALLY bad in Toronto. They just don't know it yet. It's like when we signed Tobias Harris to a massive contract and everyone was hopeful.

Nobody in the city cares about the 76ers after what the Phillies and more recently the Eagles have been giving us. This is the perfect opportunity for them to tank but like always, they double down on the illogical thing to do.

Didn't watch this one. Seems like a good choice

I'll just say, my dream scenario for this season was for Maxey and George to be able to carry offensively, with Joel being a dho facilitator and defender/rebounder and take a step back offensively. George hasn't been good enough, Joel not healthy enough.... They've got to focus on getting Joel healthy, with a cleanup... He could come back and average his numbers from now and be tradable as long as he's playing more. But whatever, Nurse and Morey are concerned with job security, so they're skewing towards winning. Not good

I'm happy that Butler got signed for the next 2 years. Philadelphia made a good move. Guys like Butler and Yabusele are good role players and cost effective.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
