It would certainly open up that dunker spot lob that Jokic/Gordon feast on.

I’ve been very vocal about reducing Embiid’s burden as a rim protector, rebounder, and screen setter so this is one possible path for that. In reality, it’s probably just another theoretical double big lineup that will never happen.

The first thing that comes to mind is that Bona needs to play alongside another big power forward or center. Defensively, he reminds me of a young Serge Ibaka—an excellent shot blocker and versatile defender. However, he lacks the size and strength to be an effective rebounder. If we rely on Bona to play center with power forwards like Tobias Harris or Nicolas Batum, who we've used in the past, we’re likely to face rebounding issues.

He better figure out how to be an effective rebounder or he’s not long for this league. He needs to be Capela.

I think they said he only started playing at 13 or 15. He needs more reps and coaching, otherwise has the right skill set

Now with a few decent games under his belt we have a little Intel on him playing against NBA bigs. He's a bit of a tweener at only 6'9 and not skilled enough to play the 4. He definitely has NBA level athleticism and is quicker than most bigs even with solid weight on. Ceiling looks to be energy big off the bench, hopefully with more reps he can continue to grow in his role. Still underwhelmed with his rebounding but he's still learning where to be on the floor and how to be an effective rim protector without fouling or giving up offensive rebounds. He runs the floor very well and has some P&R potential.

No reason for Nick not to play him every game for the rest of the season, let him play through his mistakes and fu*k up like the FO has done every season.

He need to learn how to box out especially being a smaller center, he's used to just out jumping everyone.
