It's an interesting approach.
One thing is for certain. The Nets got the two best passers in the draft.
Egor Demin had a 7.1 assists per-36.
Nolan Traore had a 7.4 assists per-36
No one else really came close to those two, by way of playmaking numbers.
I guess there's something admirable about a team saying "let's prioritize assists" and then going and getting it.
And it's super goddamn intriguing that Egor Demin is 6'9" and Traore is 6'3", meaning that these guys might even be able to play TOGETHER in certain lineups!!! Our guy Cam Thomas might average 30 lol.
76ciology just got a woody.

Happy we got our guy as well with the Mavs. Cant say the same for everybody else. Now what can we get for Embiid and build to the future it ain't all doom and gloom all of a sudden.

30 PPG? I actually thought Kobble was joking and almost reported the post for trolling.

He’s so good that when Nets realized that, they just gave away Harden, Kyrie and Durant.

Tre Johnson and Ace Bailey are nowhere near as good as Cam Thomas as a prospect

A healthy Cam Thomas can absolutely chuck up enough shots on a bad Nets team and average 30. He might be the very first player to average 30 a game and not make an all star team. People will speak of his greatness and others will argue that he did this again accountants and soft ball players.

He was such a threat to the integrity of the league that when it looked like he might actually average 30, the league responded by making the game more physical, just to make sure it wouldn’t happen.
BIG 3 MOUNT RUSHMORE.
CAM THOMAS, MICHAEL BEASLEY, JOE JOHNSON, ISAIAH THOMAS, JANNERO PARGO.

@Negro
What are your thoughts on a Zion/Queen frontcourt? Enough rim protection?

Probably not, but I think they have a very switchable defense.
I think the spacing is going to be the real concern there. Queen needs to develop a 3pt shot, Zion is not a threat from out there really, and Fears is going to take some time to become a consistent outside shooter. There's plenty of defensive switchability and size between Zion, Trey, Herb, and Queen.
Honestly, I think Queen is a replacement for Zion long term since Zion is obviously a really dumb person and unreliable health wise.
Poole
Murphy
Herb
Queen
Missi
That makes sense for me as a lineup since Queen would be the point forward generating looks for everyone. Just a really weird constructed team in a brutal western conference and now has no first round pick next year in one of the most stacked drafts in recent memory. I love Queen, but I love Dybansta more.
