In a weird way, we got some good news today when a member of the Phoenix F.O. said that the team will NOT be trading any of their core players and are going to allow them to make another run at a championship.
In order for us to even enter the Amare talks... the Suns would need to wait until this summer to deal him and not before the deadline.

to Phoenix- Camby and Reggie Evans
What do we think? We could use the cap room to sign Calderon in the summer.
Im gonna tweak your idea.
How about:
to Philly- Amare
to Denver- Miller and Utah's #1 pick from Korver trade
to Phoenix- Nene, Rodney Carney and Phillys 08 1st Round Pick
(Summary: We Give up Carney, Miller and 2 Firsts for Amare)

I see no way Amare is dealt unless the Suns get a relatively big name back. I have seen very few proposals that meet this.
The closest I could come would be us sending #1 + Iguodala + Smith +Trade exemption (cap space)
-but I doubt that this would be enough, as Iguodala and Smith is not enough to keep them in contention while Nash is still playing at his high level- but at least it gives them a name (iguodala) money and a pick.
I really doubt we will be part of a deal for him because they would want a big name Center in exchange, and Sam is not a big enough name to satisfy them.
