Let's see if they know how to win championships...

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

Until Denver gets Tim Duncan, Shaq, Hakeem, Micheal Jordan or Joe Dumars at GM, they will be expected to be just like the rest of teams in the NBA over the last trillion years, second place at best...

Denver badly needs Ron Artest or some type of guy who can start and play very good level defense. If they can get that, then they'll win the title. Offensively, they still have one of the more dynamic teams in the league.

You honestly think Denver is a single hard nosed defender away from beating LA, San Antonio and the like? I doubt they agree or they'd be selling the farm to make it happen

Yes, because they have the DPOY Marcus Camby and with 1 single perimeter defensive player, they'll be a good deal better. Just like what Iggy/Thad Young should hopefully be :)

They're only 4.5 out of the top spot right now. Artest when he's on is one of the 30 best players in the NBA. I think he'd give them a really good chance.

They'd still be out of their league with the class of the West

"Out of their league" The Western Conference, unlike (I'm ashamed to call us the "east", we're more like a JV HS Conference) us is a 8 team playoff deep race.

In that conference, I wouldn't be suprised if we have another Golden State like series.

Why?

What makes any of those teams better than this lineup?
Iverson
Artest
Anthony
Martin
Camby

They played San Antonio (Who is not as good as last year) really tough without two of those guys and still getting used to Iverson. They may not be able to beat them now, but it would be a great series.

Either way....that Golden State liek team will fail to win a title...again.

8 teams deep, sure, but 1,2,3 is still much better than 7,8. LA is crazy deep. San Antonio plays a playoff series like no team in sports and you have to figure that either the Dallas or Pheonix experiment will pan out, so I don't see the addition of Ron Artest making the Nuggets a force.

Honestly, nothing. Camby and Martin swatting shots when AI/Ron don't get steals. AI/Artest/Anthony=All 20+ PPG scorers. Unlike Denver, I would negoitate like hell to get Artest.

If those guys could play all 48, I'd be on board with you guys.

30-35 mins a night is enough. Even if their bench is not as deep. It can still realistically compete with any of the teams benches(except LA'S, which is mad wicked)

If Nene and Atkins are healthy, I'd be comfortable with their bench against San Antonio's bench of walking corpses.

Ok. Agree to disagree. We'll just have to watch the playoffs and chat after.

+/- indicates how many points your team scored and gave up while you were on the court.

While Evans was on the floor the Sixers scored 40 more pts then Knicks did during the same time frame.

When Thad was on the court they scored 13 more points then the Knicks did.

Thank you very much for answering me, it's nice knowing now lol
