Ricky and Jem were awesome. I wish we could get both of them back. We don't have any characters on this board anymore. Everyone is exactly like me, and that sucks.

Is that board where all our rejects go to lol. I dont miss Ricky because we have his mini Ricky here in Sendem but I do miss Jem. He just couldnt control his temper here and he thought he was better then everyone else here.

Thats why I said he is the mini Ricky. Give him time. I would bet the house that Sendem has the potential to become just as bad as Ricky was and continues to be. Ricky was a HofF ass tho lol.

Jemagee was a constant presence who I guess couldn't control his temper. He did keep things interesting.

Ricky was a unique one...probably a lot of childhood cruelty in his past. Scary thought that he was an AAU coach...good reason to coach your kid's teams!!

This reminds me of the time when I and a friend had just gotten out of the Army (a long time ago) and we were discussing how we would hear other past soldiers saying things like "Oh, it wasn't so bad" after they had been out for about 20 years because they had forgotten how bad it really was. Bad in the sense of getting "crapped" on for this and that the way you do in Army.

We made a pact that we would never say that. We would always remember that it was bad and we disliked it greatly.

Well, this seems to be the same situation ... with remembering Ricky and Jem

It was bad !!!!

Stanford:

If Jem could come back and honestly - really honestly - say that he would make a better effort to be part of the community as a wholle...engage in a bit more give-and-take in his posts and a little less I-know-more-than-you...I would be open to having him back on the forum. He certainly has a strong opinion and knew his stuff...it just seemed that most of the posts he sunk his teeth into became MMA cage matches...and - for me - it just got tiring after a while.

I know that I can get full of myself now and then around here, but I also like to think that I can throw a bone to other posters when they make a good point. It is that kind of give-and-take in a community like this that makes it enjoyable to participate...and it always seemed so damn one-way with Jem...and, for me, it just got old.

Seeing Ricky and Jem laying waste to all of those posters over on that forum...

classic Ricky - "Name the players who are better. Now."

No problemo, boss...I'll get right on it.

This forum is SO much better without them here. And it's not that they were unknowledgable...they knew their stuff. They just did not know how to play nice.
