Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

I'd be shocked if Reynolds gets drafted if and when he ever comes out. He's not an NBA player.

Hansbrough is a 15-20 minute energy guy, that's about it. At the 15th pick or so, that's not terrible value. If he develops the baseline and elbow jump shot, he can be a poor man's Udonnis Haslem. Which, again, value-wise at the 15th pick, isn't terrible.

As for Love, I think a lot of the same. He's just not big enough and not nearly athletic enough to play the 4 in the NBA. 15-20 minutes a game, sure. But the guy isn't a starter. And can we please stop talking about his ability to throw outlet passes? What an overrated trait.

How is a passing bigman a overrated trait?

That's not what I said. It's the fact that people pimp his ability to throw an outlet pass as something that makes him a legit PF in the league. It's a nice aspect of his game, but it's not all that important.

Love is a house. He's slow and he's not explosive, but he gets AMAZING position for a college kid, and he has every move in the book. He's a throwback for sure, but we have no half-court scoring outside of Andre Miller right now.

Is their someone successful in the NBA in the last 10 years whose frame and game approximates Love. Is he Mark Jacksonesque?

I guess he's Marc Jacksonesque except he's extremely skilled. He can shoot...has a nice drop step...rebounds like a monster and REALLY knows the game. I'd say he plays like a shorter Arvydas...which could work on our team because we have no other post presence (Though I hold out hope for Thad)

If I really think I bet I an come up with a good comparison....Let me get right back to you hahaha

LOL. Once you say he is extremely skilled he has gone far beyond Mark Jacksonesque. Also, Jackson looked like a physical player, but he really wasn't. Love is very physical, has extraordinary rebounding skills, has all of the fundamental post moves down, and is a very good post passer in addition to being a great outlet passer. Adding the three pointer to his game will be very helpful since his run and jump athleticism just isn't there. He is a unique player and you really may have to go back all the way to Wes Unseld to find a truly comparable player. The question is whether Unseld (with three point range added) could be a top player in the NBA today, if so, then Kevin Love will be a very good NBA player. He might be a very good partner for Sammy since Love is not going to be much of a help defense shotblocker, while Sammy lacks the bulk that Love has to muscle up against hefty post-players.

And yes, being a great outlet passer is a big deal on a team like the Sixers that wants to run and advance the ball upcourt by the pass rather than by the dribble.

Would Zach Randolph be a better comparison. i remeber in college he was a bull in a china shop... with great touch around the rim.

How about Big nasty. More athletic, but undersized, strong and great touch/moves. Big nasty was the msot dominant low post college player I remember seeing.

I think Sean May is a pretty appropriate comparison.

I have been watching a ton of pro and college games,so I have not appeared in that forum since Feb 3rd.Their is a lot of talent out their and so many solid teams going into the tournament.I am looking for Kansas to rebound against Kasas St. I have decided to turn my back on Darrell Arthur, but I would love to be wrong about him.I do not want the 76ers to pick him.

I can live with Kevin Love's lack of speed ,since he does everything else well. His outlet pass reminds me of Wes Unseld, but I love the way Kevin (the Wall) Love surrounds a rebound.UCLA can beat teams when they are are having an off night , because Westbrook plays tremendous one on one defense for the Bruins.

I saw OK State beat Kansas ,Tennessee beat Memphis, Kentucy come from behind on Arkansas and I loved the Longhorns win against Kansas State. The tournament is wide open.Tennessee will have no problem shaking off the loss to Vandy.

It would not surprise me to see the 76ers trade for a 2nd round pick in 2008.I have watched Arkansas play 7 times this year.I've been very impressed with the impact that 6ft 6" 2 guard Sonny Weems has had during the games I watched. He never disappoints me at crunch time. The Razorback, as well as the entire Southeast conference, Big 12 and Pac 10 are very entertaining to watch.

I continue to see Speights have good games and bad games for the Gators.Speights is playing with a superstar pg in Calathis.Their is no reason for him to have his down games. He has a good post up game, but some nights he does not come to play.Razorbacks Steven Hill did a nice job against him in a game I saw Arkansas take down the Gators at Florida.

The 76ers won a statement game against Orlando. I love the way the 76ers took advantage of a team they played well a night earlier.I was very impressed with Miller and Green. Our bench did very little, but we still waxed the Magic.

Andris Biedrins is out with an injury, which gives the 76ers a chance in the next game, against the Warriors.Rodney Carney still has a long way to go.I hope he can turn it around.I think the only reason he takes shots from Happyland is,it's the only situation where Carney can relax without putting it into ist gear.Other than taking trays the defense always loks for Carney in ist gear

One footnote on last nights 76ers win over Orlando.Did you see when Lou had the crossover dribble and the defender fell to the floor? We did not not score on the play, but it was a lot of fun.The prettiest play for me,was watching Young on the fast break, making a great pass to Miller, which lead to the Iggy layup. That play took me back in time.

With the 76ers picking anywhere from 9-16, I still favor Kevin Love, but I wish a miracle would give us Blake Griffin or Beasley
