ba da bop ba ba, I'm lovin it!

Didn't watch the game, but it's great to get a win against a legitimate team.

My theory is as long as the Sixers play after rest, they beast.

Now we can go 3-1 over the next 4 (@GSW, @PHX,@LAC, SEA), and prolly get that 6th seed.

Wow...... it feels so good to root for your team TO WIN instead of LOSE.

of course, averaging like 26 points, 6 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks would be asking a lot. but whatever.
If they played him more he probably would. Close to it. Compare him to other starting SG and his numbers probably translate if he played the same amount of minutes.

Willie has the same issue as Korver did...he is thrust into a role he shouldnt and has a contract that is far too long...the salary isnt as big of an issue as the length imo but he is better suited as a bench guy...the sg position is too good in this league to have him start but willie is an nba player...again, him and lou will off the bench w evans and smith and carney is a nice rotation...its just the glaring hole at 4 which throws everything out of sync

when we have a capable 4 next year and thad slips into the 3, the lineup will be much more balanced and willie will be in a spot he should be

that all being said, ive been more impressed with him than daly since december and think hes a major reason why this team is in the playoffs at this moment

He hasn't been perfect but come on, it's Willie Green.

Nice to see you finally come around. I really thought after gaining some confindence on that knee that he would become atleast a decent player. Yeah maybe his contract is long, but it still isn't alot and it is tradeable.

There was no reason to come around until he actually started playing well. Even before his knee injury, he was a sub-40% from the field player. This isn't willie green getting back to the level he was at pre-injury, this is willie green for the first time in his career being efficient. Credit him for doing so.

Another great win. I think this team is about to get hot and get some surprising wins and get ourselves up to the 4th seed........OK, just drank some cool aid, but we have positioned ourselves to get the 6th seed and get either an Orlando or Toronto first round match up. 76ers are playing great team ball though and boy would I love to see a second Boston team go down.

True but he also was playing with Iverson and didn't get a real lot of minutes back then. Back then he was doing the same thing as Williams is doing now. But it seems to be OK for him. You could see Green getting better the 2nd half of last year.

Not only that ... A long contract is a GOOD THING if it is with a player you intend to keep and he plays well. I think Willie Green is (and always has been) that player. He may not be the best shooting guard in the League but he is not bad. Also, he works hard on defense ... that is a big plus in my book.

YES!!! If Willie played like this the entire season, you would have seen different opinions. He's a solid NBA player, probably overpaid (similar to most), and is now starting to show a knack to score with some efficiency. This makes a big difference in his public perception and acceptance of the contract.

Willie looks fantastic right now...let's hope he keeps it up.
