Thornton's jumper is pretty smooth and he is confident. If Thad develop those things real soon, then we are looking at a monster. I believe Thad can be just as explosive as Thornton if he had a better handle. Time will only tell. All i hope is that the sixers organization never lets him go.

Thornton's biggest problem is playing for a bad organization, where the owner and coach seem to hate one another and where bad management and bad luck not so coincidentally go hand in hand. Will he get the right coaching to work on his deficiencies, if so, will he ignore the coach out of his own arrogance or because the owner has undermined the coach's authority? Despite a natural athletic talent for straight ahead scoring, Thornton could simply be sunk by playing for the Clippers. He would not be the first player to suffer that fate.
