Yea we defintley have a chance to be the 6th seed and I think we steal a game or two from Orlando, but that would be our best chance to advance to the 2nd round. The Orlando-Sixers games I seen this season, it seems like the sixers get under their skin despite being the better team and maybe history could repeat itself with the A.I II era, but no way we catch Cleveland and even with J-Kidd nets aren't catching up to us.

The 6th seed is ours for the taking. If we play like we are for the rest of the season we will be ahead of the Wizzards.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

Those youtube clips made me feel so incredibly nostalgic. Man, those were some good times. I got all optimistic now:D I really think, that a good offseason would really make the Sixers a team to take seriously.

By the way.... I seem to recall a group of people posting in the Clippers thread that the Clips game was a "must-win" and that if we won, we were on our way to the playoffs and if we lost... we were toast. As I said in that thread... some people are freaking out for no reason. Obviously the Sixers need to win some games in order to make the playoffs but they don't have to play .700 ball in order to get in. The team can afford to lose a couple of games because the Nets, Hawks, and Bulls are all bad, inconsistent teams that will also lose some games.

I feel pretty confident that the Sixers will end up in the playoffs as either the 6-7-8 seed. While I don't think this is likely, I would not be blown away if they implode to an extent, and end up as the 10th seed in the conference either.

It would be exciting to get in the playoffs and steal a game or two...even in the Iverson era, how many series were the Sixers supposed to win outside of the '01 season? It still was exciting just to be in the game.

Well, the playoffs are where you get a good handle on how good they really are. This year, I would consider any playoff series where they are ahead or even tied in the series a major accomplishment and bode well for the future. They will be starting the series with 2 games on the opponents court, so to win 1 of those first 2 games would be huge.
