Interesting stat.

LeBron would do fine in any era...as would Oscar. It's so difficult to compare eras...the one thing I keep in mind is giving the earlier pro player all of the advantages in training and health and salary that the modern player has. The year round training is not something the players of the 60-70's did in comparison to what happens now...I think there were probably players in that era that still had off season jobs.

LeBron is great...headed to be one of the all time greats (meaning top 10 ever). Oscar was great...put either in a different time period, and they both would still be considered all time great players.

A poor mans Reggie Evans but let's face it every player is a poor mans Reggie Evans.
Seriously he's my favourite player in the league outside of the Sixers, he continues to amaze me game after game, for me he's the best in the league.

Why do people never mention Duncan as the best player in the league? It is always Kobe or Lebron. I would take Duncan over both of them and end up with the rings. Duncan might be the best power forward ever to play the game yet the media and fans never mention him as the best player in the league.

If I was starting a team I would take Lebron because of his age but right now if I have to win a playoff game give me Duncan.

best player in the east hands down. only Kobe is better in this league. i am with you on Duncan but his arc is decending. best power forward ever...maybe thats another thread.....anyway since we are allso smitten with Lebron....just hought i'd throw this out there...

starting lineup for the 2010/2011 Philadelphia 76ers:

PG Louis Williams
SG Andre Iguodala
SF Lebron James
PF Thaddeus Young
C Samuel Dalembert

sorry i just had to do it. we would avg 110 pts per game!

Lol, if sendem saw this he would say Iggy averages 10 ppg on this team...which I obviously don't agree with...

Average 110 ppg...lets say 95-100 comes from the starters...

Lou - 17 ppg
Iguodala - 19 ppg
LeBron - 28 ppg
Thad - 23 ppg
Sammy Deee- 12 ppg

I think those number could be very plausible...Dynasty???

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
