I wish Sam could play man D on Howard as effectively as he does against some of the other elitePF/C in the league. Up to this point he gets run over by Howard's ridiculous strength level.

Hopefully our last win against the Magic was a sign that we can match up defensively against them.

I'd prefer the Magic over any other team in the playoffs. Howard's presence and their 3 point shooting give them the upper hand and I'd expect Orlando to prevail, but I do think we could make a series out of it

Yes he does, his length gives Duncan problems just like the other guys on your team. Were so long and athletic that, they gave problems getting around people and were always poking the ball loose. Or in Dalembert's case blocking shots.

Length really is what we bring to the table. If we had a long PF allowing 'Dala to move to 2 and Thad to move to the 3, can you imagine how long we'd bea as a team? Wow.

I'm starting to get the impression that this team is just flat out more athletic and better conditioned than our competition on most nights. As a team, we never seem to hit a ceiling. They just seem one step faster than our opponents on both defense and offense and even when games are close, it seems like we're somewhat toying with our competition; waiting to switch on the turbo come the 4th quarter and wear our opponent down. Anyone else get this impression?

Yes. Its sort of ironic. All of those years watching AI with his limitless energy outwilling the opponents- and now AI is gone but the team has taken on that high energy, warrior type persona. I wonder if it is partly a lasting effect that AI had on some oof these guys. They deferred to AI when he was here, but now it shows how his attacking attitude rubbed off on them now that he is gone. Maybe I am reaching a bit though...

didn't want to start a new thread till tgp opens up the nugget one...

Is anyone watching the nuggets v supersonics? this is an epic ass whooping Seattle 69, Denver 100 w/ 7 minutes to go in the 3rd

The nugs laid 80+ on them in the 1st half
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I'm interested to see the matchup between Thaddeus and Carmello. This will be the ultimate test in my view for Thad. Williams versus AI should be fun to watch too.
