Wow it says he didn't last, because he was asking for girls numbers? What a loser, he wore his NFC Championship ring around like he actually did something that year to help the Eagles win. I hate FredEx he was a joke, he can't even get a job playing football in Canada. What a loser.

Actually.. he got canned there. He kept bugging the manager for a promotion to head chef. Something about his hands "being so great." They got tired of his act and fired him.

He refused to take off his Intercontinental Championship Belt while manning the grill.

The manager fired him... siting safety reasons.

I think 2 or 3 years ago, he tried out for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football team. He got cut.

I don't have a link, but I recall reading or seeing a week or so ago that he held a private workout at UCLA with NFL scouts from 3 or 4 potentially interested teams...

The point is Eagles drafted Freddie, when they could have drafted Chad Johnson...Eagles are horrible at drafting WR's. Billy McMullen, Freddie Mitchell, Jermey Bloom they are not even in the NFL anymore.

Other than D-Mac, the Eagles have had big problems with 1st round picks in general- not just at WR. Overall they draft well, just overthink things in the 1st round.

I think it's because they always have to show they are smarter than everyone else.

THey never take the popular choice...they always have to find a diamond in the rough....even in the first round.

I mean sure, the popular answer isn't always the best...but if you refuse it on the occasion that it is, that's just foolish

So the reason for the hate aimed at Freddie is because of a bad draft day decision by the Eagles ? I don't get it.

True Story:

I was at the King of Prussia Hooters to eat with my brother and my friend this past summer and it just so happened to be the Bikini Contest. We had just finished up eating and were waiting for the check when Ryan Howard (who was injured at the time) and Freddie Mitchell walked in to be the guest judges. It was crazy. I understand bringing in Ryan Howard, but Freddie Mitchell. I mean really??? Who knows, maybe his full time job now is being a special guest judge.
