Philly most certainly would not get embarrassed by Detroit. The only team in the East that would embarrass Philly is Boston.
If I were Philly fan I would love to play Cleveland and I would be throughly disappointed if Philly didn't win. The Cavs aren't a very good team right now. Philly is better.
Cleveland is the easy choice.
Who would you rather play in the 1st round?

I hate a Cavs/Sixer matchup I think we get our butts handed to us in 5 games. Crazy as it sounds i'd rather play Detroit or Orlando before them. I just don't like the way we match up with them. Not saying that Cleveland is better than Orlando or Detroit but I think we would play Detroit and Orlando better than we would play Cleveland.
I'm just saying from a matchup standpoint.

Thanks for stopping by...why do you think the Cavs are not playing better? I would have thought that - with the trade - you guys would be SMOKING people...obviously it takes time to incorporate people, but what do you think the deal is?
That's simple: Larry Hughes may not have been a perimeter shooter, but he was good for 17 PPG and solid scoring. Combine that with the fact that their depth is all but gone bare a few NBDL caliber 3pt shooters and....
Yeah, Cleveland's really stinking it up.

Cleveland's transition defense would be all but horrible. Their point guards are: Delonte West(I like the guy but still needs to develop/get in game condition due to lack of playing time.)/Daniel Gibson/Damon Jones.
You can force turnovers from their PG'S, you can outrun anybody sans LeBron. Cleveland is a VERY GREAT fit from an offensive standpoint and defensively as well. If you front the basketball and force Zydrunas to take tough shots, he's currently their 2nd leading scorer I think. Take him out, ya take out da cavs.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about concerning the Cavaliers. Hughes was never ever good for 17 ppg (the 1-9 for 9 pts in the previous matchup were at least as likely). The Cavs also have way more depth than they had previously being able to bring Joe Smith, Varejao, Wally, Gibson and Devin Brown (not to mention 3 pt shooter Damon Jones) off the bench. Sure there are better players but this is much better depth than they had before the trade.

Orlando is the only matchup where the Sixers have a shot. PG play in Orlando is below average, swing players very good, but overall it's probably a push, but they get the nod inside with Howard. If you can limit Howard somewhat, they don't have much else inside and you may have a chance.
Boston is too tough, Cleveland still has LBJ (and I still think is even money to come out of the East), and Detroit still have too much on court IQ and big game experience. I don't see the Sixers winning any more than 1 game in any of those series.
