Well, if you are going to comment on my posting you may wish to use the numbers I posted. These numbers are not my numbers.

That's because your numbers are wrong.

Yes ... so what ?

Meaning that Green is being setup, Igudoala is creating his own shot, which points to different roles they fulfill on the team.

It was not my intention to indicate that Willie Green was more valuable than Igoudala ... only that the disparity in perceived value may not be entirely justified.

When you make a statement like:
Yet, Willie Green is considered a bum by many and Igoudala a budding superstar.

interesting ...

You are talking about their overall value. Posting other stats to show why Iguodala is considered significantly more valuable is certainly within reason.

Yep ... they are deep !

And they are peaking at the right time. I am almost certain now that they will be the 5th seed and play Cleveland in the first round. I also think they will beat Cleveland and move to the 2nd round against Boston.

I assume that is where their season will end ... but ... who knows ...

I looking at the situation from a long term perspective. If the 76ers can draft a good power forward like Jason Thompson, that would solidify our power forward for the future. Kevin Love will not be there for us when we make our selection. The 76ers will have to find a way to draft Shan Foster or Courtney Lee in round 2 to play SG. Then try to try to make a clever trade in round 2 to pick up Nathan Jawai. This guy could play Center or PF. Jawai has a winspan of 7ft 5 " and looks closer to 7ft than 6ft 10".

I am having a great time watching the 76ers play in every game, but the starting linup makes me cringe a bit, since Willie Green is still a starter. I like Green as a bench player.

One other thing I would do this season. Just because Orlando is better than us does not mean I am ready to surrender to them. However the 76ers will never beat Orlando until they realize, it's not about stopping Dwight Howard. It's about stopping Turkoglu,Lewis and Nelson.

Mo must change the lineup against the Magic. Let Jason Smith play major minutes on Turkoglu and put Thaddeus and Iggy on Lewis. You have to do something about size matchups before the plague sets in. Think about this, even if we had Jason Thompson, Love, or Speights neither one of these players could go outside and defend Hido. I think Smith could do the job. He has the footspeed.I also think Darrell Arthur has not done enough for the 76ers to draft him in the ist round.

If you really want to take a look down the road...

I think in a year or two Thad will be able to lock down the likes of Hedo. Lewis doesn't worry me that much- Iguodala can cover him.

Howard still is the problem. If you have to constantly collapse on him, and you can't leave him for a second on picks, then someone gets an open three. Also, Howard will be a much better finisher and passer in the post in a few years. He really will have a Shaq like impact on the game.

I even would consider using our #1 to draft a big project like Thabbeet, just so we have some one the bench who can physically go against Howard- or at worst make him work and then shoot FT's.
