While Green has been stinking it up lately, he wasn't the reason for the loss. We were up 4 with 3 minutes to go, and WG was nowhere in sight.
To me, the frustration about/over this loss shows how far this team has come this season. These are games that we lost in the early part of the last couple of seasons...and games that we have been winning the past two months. It was an important late-season game that good teams win - taking advantage of a team on its home floor missing two key guys (Wallace and Gibson at crunch time). And even with that, they still had two good looks at the end - Lou's 3, and Iggy's 3 (which, all things considered, was a pretty good look).
I hope that the players were pizzed off after the game, 'cause they should have been. And I don't think that Mo and the coaching staff will have any problem with overconfidence after that one....
It's a 48 minute game...not 45.
